It’s time again to make plans for 2 of Frankenmuth’s premier events:
The 2013 Summer Music Fest and Frankenmuth Oktoberfest
• 26th annual Summer Music Fest August 8 – 10 and 15 - 17,
• 24th annual Frankenmuth Oktoberfest September 19 - 22
The 26th annual Summer Music Fest will be 7 days spread out over two weekends. The nation’s finest polka bands from around the United States will be in Frankenmuth August 6th thru the 10th. And back by popular demand will be The Fabulous Hubcaps August 16th and 17th. On an average the Summer Music Fest attracts polka and Hubcap fans from 38 states and 3 countries in addition to the many area attendees. The area motels and camp grounds are filled with people that look forward year after year of making Frankenmuth one of their summer polka events.
The 24th annual Frankenmuth Oktoberfest will this year again feature the best in German entertainment from Michigan, Ohio and Indiana. German food, beverages and all the decorations have made the Oktoberfest one of Frankenmuth’s most popular festivals. This event truly celebrates Frankenmuth’s German heritage and has grown in popularity each year.
In all, featuring 10 days of the nation’s best entertainers and a family friendly atmosphere drawing patrons from not only the surrounding area but from nearly every state and many countries. Many area motels are already booked with people that will be making their way to Frankenmuth for these upcoming events. Each year we hear the accolades from our many visitors on what a unique experience Frankenmuth and the surrounding area ad’s to their visit, which keeps bringing many of them back year after year.
This year as in previous years RAM Productions will spend more than $55,000.00 in various advertising forms promoting Frankenmuth, the Summer Music Fest and Frankenmuth Oktoberfest. While each festival is unique, they all represent a popular Frankenmuth tradition “FUN” in “FUN TOWN”. You and all the quality businesses around the Frankenmuth area play a key role each year in upholding that treasured tradition.
